​Special Waste Services provides an expert precious metal recovery service to its customers across a wide range of industries, enabling them to maximise the value from their scrap.  

We process precious waste such as: lemels, grindings, drawer/bench sweeps, scrap jewellery, floor sweeps, plating solutions, crowns and bridges, dust, vac bags, platinum foil, flashings, crucibles, old carpets and settlement tanks.  We also collect and process critical metals such as Cobalt and Titanium pucks, Tungsten tool tips and swarf.

Our customers may choose to have one of our representatives visit their premises for a collection or they can opt to use our prepaid, insured, next day Special Delivery service. SWS provide our customers with collection pots and our prepaid Special Delivery envelopes for their convenience, allowing them to send in their smaller items of scrap at their convenience.

Here at Special Waste Services, we pride ourselves on providing a fast and efficient service with our in-house processing capabilities.  We use XRF technology to analyse the precious metal content of your scrap material, followed by a four metal assay once the smelting process is complete.  We pay very competitive prices based on the daily fix by Bacs or cash.
